Droppings

For quite sometime I would notice "rat droppings" in front of my Front Door. At times there would be some half eaten insect as well covered with ants. This became a daily occurrence and the droppings would be around the same place every time.  Besides irritating me, it puzzled me. I bought some rat poison and placed it near where these droppings appeared. No effect. The "cake' was hardly eaten. Then these droppings started appearing at another spot close to the first one. I kept wondering, how come these rats are so consistent?  That they do their doodoo at  around the same place every night.  Then I realized, these weren't rats, these were Bats!  I have four hooks on the ceiling of the foyer, for Plant Hangers and these Bats were using these hooks as their dinner perch.  So now I have taped the hooks, and now to see if that gets rid of this daily occurrence.
